Terms of sale

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Scope

These terms of sale, version of 19 October 2026, apply to the purchase of the complete edition of the Claude Code guide on gaetanwittebolle.com. You accept them by paying. Your purchase stays governed by the version online on the day of your order.

They also apply when you buy for a company. The right of withdrawal is reserved to buyers acting as consumers.

What you buy

The Claude Code guide is a written course, published as chapters on the website, in French and in English. Part 1 (4 chapters) and the annex stay free for everyone. The complete edition opens parts 2 to 6, that is 18 chapters, in both languages.

The guide is read online only, on the website, in a recent browser (computer, tablet or phone) with an internet connection. There is nothing to install and no file to download.

The website does not guarantee a minimum level of service quality, such as an uptime rate. Chapters are web pages, with no version adapted for people with disabilities; the browser zoom enlarges the text.

Price and payment

The complete edition costs €99 including VAT (20% French VAT). This launch price may change: the price that applies is the one shown on the payment page when you order. A promo code, if one exists, is entered on that same page.

Payment goes through Stripe: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. The amount is charged once, when you order. The website never sees your card number. Stripe emails you the invoice. If you buy for a company, you can enter your VAT number on the payment page, and it then appears on the invoice.

A payment disputed with your bank closes access to the complete edition.

Order

  1. On the website, you click the button to buy the complete edition.
  2. Stripe's payment page shows the total price. You enter your email and payment method there, and you can correct any field until you pay.
  3. Once the payment is accepted, the order is placed and you come back to the website.

The contract is made in French or in English, depending on the language of the website at the time of purchase. If the two versions of these terms differ, the French version prevails.

Access and account

Access opens as soon as the payment is accepted, for the email entered on the payment page. When you come back to the website, you are logged in on that browser. A confirmation email sums up the purchase.

Your account has no password. To log in on another device, you ask for a login link, sent to the purchase email.

In case of a security incident or a threat to accounts, BUDDYWORKERS may close open sessions or pause the sending of login links for a while. You then log in again with a new link.

Length of access and updates

Access is called "lifetime": it lasts as long as the guide is published on gaetanwittebolle.com. There is no subscription and no renewal, and updates are included.

BUDDYWORKERS changes the guide as it sees fit to follow Claude Code: chapters corrected, rewritten, reorganised, added or removed. If a change were to significantly reduce your access, you would be told and could terminate under the conditions of article L224-25-26 of the French Consumer Code.

If BUDDYWORKERS stops publishing the guide, you are told by email at least 30 days before. Stopping publication does not give rise to a refund.

Withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you have 14 days from the purchase to withdraw, without giving a reason. To do so, send a clear statement before the end of the period, in any of these ways:

  • by email to gaetan.wittebolle@gmail.com;
  • with the withdrawal form at the bottom of this page;
  • with the "Withdraw from contract here" button on the "My account" page, available during the 14 days.

You get an acknowledgement by email. The price paid is refunded within 14 days of the request, with the same payment method, and access to the complete edition closes when the refund is made.

Legal guarantee of conformity

If a chapter does not display, or if the guide does not match what these terms describe, write to gaetan.wittebolle@gmail.com. French law requires the following text, translated here:

The consumer is entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears during the whole period of their access to the complete edition, from the supply of the digital content. During this period, the consumer only has to prove that the lack of conformity exists, not when it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity requires the supply of all the updates needed to keep the digital content in conformity during the whole period of their access to the complete edition.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the digital content brought into conformity without undue delay after their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.

The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the digital content, or may end the contract and get a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content, if:

  • 1° The trader refuses to bring the digital content into conformity;
  • 2° Bringing the digital content into conformity is unjustifiably delayed;
  • 3° The digital content cannot be brought into conformity without costs imposed on the consumer;
  • 4° Bringing the digital content into conformity causes major inconvenience to the consumer;
  • 5° The lack of conformity of the digital content persists despite the trader's unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or ending of the contract. The consumer then does not have to ask first for the digital content to be brought into conformity.

Where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer is only entitled to cancel the contract if the contract does not provide for the payment of a price.

Any period during which the digital content is unavailable to be brought back into conformity suspends the remaining guarantee period until the digital content is supplied in conformity again.

These rights result from articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code.

A trader who obstructs the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith faces a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be raised to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee gives the right to a price reduction if the digital content is kept, or to a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content.

Personal use

The account and the complete edition are for the person whose email was used for the purchase, including when a company pays. The account is not to be shared, and the paid chapters may not be redistributed, in whole or in part, without written permission. Short quotes with a link to the original page remain allowed, as set out in the legal notice.

If the account is shared or chapters are redistributed, BUDDYWORKERS may suspend or close the access, without refund.

Liability

The guide is training content. The tools, commands, settings and prices it describes change quickly: check them before applying them to your projects. BUDDYWORKERS guarantees no result and is not liable for the consequences of using them on your projects, your data or your spending. To the extent permitted by law, its liability is limited to the price paid for the complete edition.

Personal data

What the website does with your data for the purchase and the account, and how long it keeps it: see the privacy policy.

Complaints

For any complaint, write to gaetan.wittebolle@gmail.com or to the registered office.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another European Union country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country.

In case of dispute, a consumer can bring the claim before the court of the place where they lived at the time of purchase, or the court of BUDDYWORKERS' registered office, in Bordeaux (article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code). Between businesses, the courts of Bordeaux have jurisdiction.

Withdrawal form

You do not have to use this form: a clear statement by email is enough.

(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
